I learned a new word today from Bobbi Newman aka Librarian by Day. Transliteracy. Please check out her wonderful post that offers great resources for any of you who want to jump on this bandwagon with me. defines transliteracy as "the ability to read, write and interact across a range of platforms, tools and media from signing and orality through handwriting, print, TV, radio and film, to digital social networks."
